Get Better Sleep

SUMMARY

Do you struggle with falling asleep or staying asleep?  Maybe you lay down to sleep and it's like your mind just "goes into overdrive" and you can't shut it down.  Or maybe you work a nightshift and it's difficult to rest soundly during the day...

Good quality sleep is crucial to health, longevity, maintaining adequate energy and keeping your immune system strong.  Chronic sleep deprivation weakens the immune system, making it easier to get sick.

Whatever your sleep situation, you want to maximize the quality of your sleep, fall asleep quickly and rest deeply.

doTERRA essential oils are an excellent support to promote deep, restful sleep.

For best results, I recommend you use them in 3 ways:  1) diffuse in your bedroom all night, 2) apply topically to your body and 3) take internally.

  1. Apply oils topically. Apply just a drop behind your ears, at your wrists or the bottoms of your feet.  There are many oils that promote restful sleep.  A few of my favorites are:  Lavender, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Siberian Fir and Breathe.
  2. Diffuse in the air. Diffuse oils in your bedroom all night long.  Be sure your diffuser is ultra-sonic and runs for 8-12 hours.  (Many diffusers only run 3-4 hours.)  Add 2-3 drops of your favorite oil combinations.  For an extra boost, include Roman Chamomile and Spikenard.
  3. Take oils internally. This step is key to maximizing your results.  Try Serenity Restful Complex combined with Copaiba softgels - 1 capsule of each, 20 minutes before bed.

Bonus Tip:  search for "sleep music" on YouTube, find a video that will run 8 or more hours and listen all night long.   I find this extra step helps me fall asleep more quickly and sleep more deeply.
